Universal Robot has initiated a competition for manufacturers to identify a manual process in their production set-up that could benefit from being automated. Three companies will be lucky winners of a Universal Robot collaborative robotic arm.

Information about the competition can be found at https://winarobot.universal-robots.com/ and explains that your entry can describe a “monotonous task that your employees would only be too happy to swap for one that requires problem solving skills or a task that needs to be carried out faster for you to stay competitive”.

Northwest Industrial Resource Center (NWIRC) is, as always, available to help manufacturers in Northwest PA identify an area for automation, and we can even assist with writing a submission. Contact your NWIRC Strategic Business Advisor or Michael Griffith, Manufacturing Technology Engineer.
