Engineer And Apprentice Using Automated Milling Machine At WorkNorthwest Industrial Resource Center (NWIRC) will offer webinar briefings each week in September to share details about the STEM Manufacturing Internship Program. This is a great opportunity for manufacturers in Northwest PA to take a few minutes to learn how a STEM Intern can help their company and how to get started with the program.

The STEM Manufacturing Internship connects regional Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) college students to manufacturers’ project-based needs. This program has helped companies accelerate technology development and address process and technology-related issues with significant and quantifiable results, like increased productivity and decreased costs. NWIRC facilitates the process to identify, screen, and select qualified candidates to take that burden off of the company.
