Details of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework can be tailored to meet the needs of small companies so they can identify, assess, and manage cybersecurity risks. Stephen Reichard, Founder of TechWorx, will review the steps to cost effectively manage risk at the Cybersecurity Boot Camp in Erie on March 28th. The program is sponsored by Northwest Industrial Resource Center (NWIRC), Northwest Commission Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), and Gannon Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

Prior to owning his own business in 2010, Reichard worked in IT/IS management for over 20 years at various organizations where he developed his ability to problem-solve and quickly adapt to changes in the business and IT environment, including managing multiple locations and remote users worldwide. He was also a Microsoft IT Academy Instructor at Erie Business Center for 5 years and a Lecturer of Computer Science at Pennsylvania State University – Erie Campus for 3 years. He chose a career in IT because he thrives on the fast-paced evolution of technology and the benefits it can bring to any business.
