Northwest Industrial Resource Center (NWIRC) is searching for a qualified student to serve as an Electrical Engineer Apprentice for a company in Venango County.
Our client is in need of a qualified candidate to be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Produce wiring schematics through the use of Autodesk
- Edit Programmable Logic Controllers using Ladder Logic authoring software
- Edit programs on the Industrial Operator Interfaces (Human Machine Interface software)
Candidates are required to be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, and shall be pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology; and ability to work at the Venango County facility. Experience programming PLCs & HMIs, Communications (Ethernet, RS485, MODBUS), and drawing with AutoCAD, preferred but not required. The timeframe for the position is May 2016-August 2016.
