Apprentice Position Logo- square-01Northwest Industrial Resource Center (NWIRC) is searching for a qualified apprentice to serve as an Environmental Safety Apprentice for a company in Clarion County.

Our client is in need of a student apprentice to be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Developing flow of emergency action plan (EAP) site maps and ensure all emergency contact numbers are up to date; organize and conduct EAP training and fire drills
  • Developing spill response cleanup procedures; observe and perform inspections on fuel tanks and fueling areas
  • Analyzing chemicals used, review and update SDS documents, and recommend improvement for material labeling

Candidates are required to be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, and shall be pursuing a four-year degree in Safety, Health, and Environmental Science or related discipline; and ability to work at a Clarion County facility.
