This training equips engineers, designers, and manufacturing professionals with the principles and best practices of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) to streamline production, improve quality, and reduce costs. Participants will learn how to anticipate manufacturing constraints, enhance material selection, and refine designs to align with production capabilities.

Shane Cantrell, NWIRC’s Operational Excellence Specialist. has 15+ years of experience in manufacturing operations management, leadership, and lean transformation. He earned his BS in Industrial & Management Engineering from Montana State University – Bozeman in 2002. In 2006, he earned his Master’s in Industrial & Management Engineering from Montana State University – Bozeman.
