Effective leadership requires more than tracking results—it requires understanding which metrics matter, why they matter, and how they influence customer value. Our Leading through Metrics Training, is intended to equip leaders with the tools and mindset needed to create and apply performance measures that support operational excellence. Drawing from foundational concepts including the 8 Wastes, Gemba, Standard Work, Process Flow, and Consumer Value and Expectations, this program will help leaders use metrics to identify waste, guide improvement efforts, reinforce process discipline, and better align team performance with customer needs.
About the Presenter: Chad Courtney, NWIRC’s Operational Excellence Specialist II.
Chad Courtney draws on 20+ years in cabinet and fiberglass manufacturing, including plant and operations management. He’s led lean transformations, improved throughput and quality, and built cross-functional teams. Chad is known for a strong focus on operational safety, team leadership, and customer satisfaction.
