Gain hands-on training and one-on-one assignments that pertain to your manufacturing business. This program includes 4 sessions, presented once a week for 4 weeks. Introduction to Principles of Lean Manufacturing on day one and Value Stream Mapping/Analysis on day two can be scheduled as separate training

• 5S/Key Performance Indicators

• Setup Reduction/Kaizen/Kanban

Plant Tour/Celebration:

If time permits a plant tour will be arranged to demonstrate the application of lean thinking.

The day will include a lunch and presentation of plaques to those who have completed the program.

Manufacturers who are completing the 4-session Lean Champion course may be eligible for a Make It In America Grant for up to $1063 per individual towards the training costs from Partners for Performance. Email our Event Coordinator at mreichard@nwirc.org  for details about applying for this grant.
