This is your opportunity to meet Mark Harmon, Compliance Assistance Specialist (CAS) for OSHA. He will be able to provide general information about OSHA’s compliance assistance resources and how to comply with OSHA standards. Mark will also be doing a Q & A and touch on some changes with OSHA regulations. This is an informal seminar that will allow manufacturers to learn more about OSHA and have the opportunity to ask any questions. This is a great way to find out what new regulations are coming down the pipeline and/or introduce new quality managers to OSHA. Please register so we can have appropriate seating.

Mark Harmon is the Compliance Assistance Specialist (CAS) at the Erie Area OSHA office. He has worked for OSHA for 27 years. In the first 13 years he was the Compliance Safety & Health Officer; aka Field Inspector. He completed over 600 inspections in manufacturing, construction, healthcare and oil & gas. Over the last 14 years he has assisted companies with OSHA compliance by providing outreach and managing the cooperative programs such as VPP. He has a master’s degree from Marshall University in Occupational Safety and Health. Prior to working for OSHA he was a FAA licensed aircraft technician in Santa Barbara, California after serving in the US Air Force at Edwards AFB.
