With the release of the new ISO 9001:2015 Standard, companies are faced with the task of transitioning their existing Quality Management System. This 3-hour course will inform organizational management, including owners; executive leaders; department managers; management representatives; internal ISO auditors; and process owners, how ISO 9001:2015 will impact their current Quality Management System (QMS). It will stress the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and what changes they might need to make as a result of the transition. This course will assist in developing an effective transition plan.
The course will help you better understand 1) the changes for ISO 9001:2015 and how the changes apply to your QMS, 2) your roles in both the transition and maintenance of your updated QMS, and 3) transition timing and steps needed to engage the registrar. The program will be held at the Knowledge Center (Behrend Campus), 5240 Knowledge Parkway in Erie on March 1st from 9:00am-12noon. The instructor is Kevin Smith, HCS, SPHR, President and Owner of Vie Associates, LLC. Smith is a performance management consultant and certified Human Capital Strategist (HCS).
