Northwestern PA Chapter of NTMA and NWIRC recently hosted the Manufacturing Advanced Expo on May 10th in Erie, PA with over 180 attendees representing 60 manufacturing companies. “The purpose of the event was to showcase the latest technology to regional manufacturers so they can see the equipment or applications first-hand and speak directly to company representatives in a smaller scale setting versus a much larger national conference,” said Tami Adams, Executive Director. The show featured 40 exhibits, including collaborative robots, machine safety and energy saving solutions, as well as concurrent education sessions that were full-to-capacity the entire day. NEFF- Industrial Automation Distributors was the premiere sponsor and instrumental in attracting many of the exhibitors to participate with the event.
“This event gets the conversation started about a technology that a manufacturing company may be thinking about or perhaps didn’t know much about, then follow-up onsite visits can be planned with representatives to review specific needs for their operation,” said John M. Bridgen, Sales Team Leader for NEFF.
