Manufacturers who are contractors or subcontractors for the Department of Defense (DoD) have new requirements pertaining to cybersecurity when it comes to safeguarding information and reporting a cyber incident. The details of the requirement are found at DoD DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) subpart 204.73 and in the December 30, 2015 Federal Register.
For other cybersecurity considerations, such as floor security, prevention, incident response, and legal perspectives, the Northwest Industrial Resource Center (NWIRC) will host Cybersecurity 101 for Manufacturers.
