Northwest Industrial Resource Center (NWIRC) is searching for a qualified student intern to work as a Marketing Analyst Intern at a manufacturing facility in Warren County.

Our client is a designer and manufacturer of innovative and proprietary polyurethane and rubber industrial components. Their products are used in warehouses, for road construction and maintenance, on farms, and for military and mining operations.  This growing manufacturer seeks a creative, energetic and focused marketing student to conduct detailed market research and analysis that will help their Construction division identify opportunities and develop plans for growth.

OBJECTIVES: The qualified student(s) will provide insights on the current construction market landscape, future market trends and growth strategies.  The goal of the project will be to work with mentors and other Construction business unit team members to create and present a market profile for the construction market.   Specifically, the successful candidate will:

  • Complete various market research projects
  • Work with the Construction team to organize and update current marketing materials
  • Design, develop, implement and maintain business solutions

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates are required to be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with an expected graduation no later than May 2018, shall be pursuing a four-year degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Business or similar field of study; and ability to work at our facility forty (40) hours per week while concurrently maintaining half-time or less student status.  Minimum required cumulative GPA of 3.0 / 4.0.

Additionally, the ideal candidate shall have excellent computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and be a responsible, team-oriented individual with great attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Some travel may be required.

TIMEFRAME: May 2017 through approximately August 2017.  Successful interns have the potential for full-time employment opportunities.  Housing is provided during internship period.

PAYRATE: Minimum $19.00 per hour depending upon experience, knowledge and skills.
