NWIRC is seeking a Marketing Analyst Intern for an opportunity at a manufacturer in Warren, PA. Our client is a designer and manufacturer of innovative and proprietary polyurethane and rubber industrial components. Their products are used in warehouses, for road construction and maintenance, on farms, and for military and mining operations. This growing manufacturer seeks a creative, energetic and focused marketing student to conduct detailed market research and analysis that will help their Material Handling and Construction divisions identify opportunities and develop plans for growth.

The qualified student(s) will provide researched summaries of the current material handling and construction markets landscape, future market trends and growth strategies. The goal of the project will be to work with mentors and other team members to create and present a market profile of the Material Handling and Construction markets, including insights into large Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), such as Caterpillar, business trends and opportunities for growth. Specifically, the successful candidate will: !) Complete various market research projects; 2) Organize and update current marketing materials; and
3) Design, develop, implement and maintain business solutions

Candidates are required to be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with an expected graduation no later than May 2020, shall be pursuing a four-year degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Business or similar field of study; and ability to work at our Warren, PA facility forty (40) hours per week while concurrently maintaining half-time or less student status. Minimum required cumulative GPA of 3.0 / 4.0. Additionally, the ideal candidate shall have excellent computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and be a quick-learning problem solver, willing to take initiative with great attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Minimal travel may be required. Prior manufacturing or military experience or practical hand-on experience and familiarity with Solidworks and statistical analysis a plus. Preference will be given to candidates who desire to stay on with the company after graduation. Timeframe for this opportunity is May 2019 through approximately August 2019. Successful interns have the potential for full-time employment opportunities. Housing may be provided during internship period should the selected candidate not have available housing within 35 miles of Warren, PA. The pay rate for a qualified candidate is $19.00 per hour.
