Congratulations to Micro Gainz, a small manufacturer in Clearfield, PA, who recently announced their success with the Walmart Open Call event they participated in at the end of June. Owner/CEO, Michael Reed, first appeared via video on LinkedIn to let the community know that the Micro Gainz fractional plates for weightlifting were selected for placement in a few hundred Walmart stores to go on shelves in the sporting goods section. According to Reed, upcoming follow-up meetings are planned with Walmart and he anticipates being in stores sometime next year.
