The Entrepreneurial Assistance Program (EAP) provides assistance to small manufacturers with services which improve their top and bottom lines while advancing their manufacturing processes. Services are provided in the areas of Strategic Planning, Succession Planning, Market Development, Value Stream Mapping, as well as other cost reduction programs.
Companies recommended for the EAP need to be stable organizations which would be made better by participating in the program. Companies are proposed for the program by a team comprised of members from local economic development organizations. A high-level overview screening assessment of the company is conducted by the NWIRC, and a written report is provided to the economic development team for its consideration. Based on the high-level screening (identifying the company’s most pressing needs), services as outlined above are provided by professional consultants with proven records of success. The program is administered by the NWIRC.
