Apprentice Position Logo- square-01Northwest Industrial Resource Center (NWIRC) is searching for a qualified student to serve as a Plastics Engineering Apprentice for a company in Erie County.

Our client is seeking a qualified candidate to work on two (2) projects during the internship. First, updating the scrap parts program by helping to identify problem areas and problem parts. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, conducting a root cause analysis to determine factors for scrap and identifying ways to reduce scrap. The second project will involve conducting research to determine which computer programs would be best for a tooling maintenance program.

Candidates are required to be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, and shall be pursuing a four-year degree in Plastics Engineering Technology or related discipline; and have the ability to work at the Erie County facility.
