Calculator, glasses and black pen on financial documents in the background.Time and resources used for prototyping and developing molds, tooling, new products, or even new processes can be used to reduce the tax burden for manufacturing companies. The R&E Tax Credit is often thought of for ground-breaking innovations and inventions, but there are many other scenarios that qualify. Northwest Industrial Resource Center (NWIRC) and Northwestern PA Chapter of the National Tooling & Machining Association (NWPA NTMA) will host an educational program to review how companies can take advantage of this benefit, featuring the R&E Tax Team from McGill, Power, Bell & Associates. The session will cover an overview of the federal and state R&E tax credit, regulatory changes, qualifying expenditures, examples of industries that typically qualify, documentation requirements, analysis of our region, and answer your questions. The program will be held on November 10th from 8:30 am – 10:30 am at the William J Douglass Jr Corporate Conference Center, 789 Bessemer Street,
Meadville, PA. The program is $25 and includes a continental breakfast.
