A highlight at Driving Impact for Manufacturers 2025 (DIFM25)!
“Talent alone won’t make you a success. Neither will being in the right place at the right time, unless you are ready. The most important question is: Are you Ready?” -Johnny Carson
Your company’s greatest competitive advantage is adapting to change faster than your competition. Ready or Not strengthens your team’s adaptability in three ways:
Employees gain experience and perspective by collaborating across business functions to deliver business results. Players love the educational game play and appreciate your investment in their growth through a premium employee development experience.
Employees who understand the internal and external factors critical to your company’s success are more willing to embrace new strategies and implement changes critical increasing profitability.
Ready or Not’s “collaborate to compete” design promotes knowledge sharing, open communication and relationship building.
All attendees at DIFM25 will be assigned to a team. Everyone will participate, no matter what your role, and regardless of whether you’re working in manufacturing. Each person on the team will be given a unique leadership position in a fictional manufacturing company. Some on your team may be from the same company, and some may not. There is great benefit in teaming with others to gain new perspectives. Players make real business decisions, tackle real-world challenges, respond to breaking news, and develop strategic and analytical skills as you compete to win. You’ll walk away with strategic questions to apply leadership-level thinking in your real-world jobs.
Topics for discussion include: strategic planning, lean manufacturing, expanding production, supply chain optimization, employee development, distribution channels, ERP, IT & Cybersecurity, Brand Development, and Sales & Marketing.
Challenges faced throughout the game may include: production line disruptions, quality control crisis, supply chain disruptions, marketplace competition, margin erosion, recession, inflationary pressures, cyber attacks, distribution challenges, and public relations crisis.
“I love that the game provided real world challenges & consequences; many I’m working thru at my business now.”
“I’ve lead strategy at multiple organizations. This was a fun way to explain the impact. I liked the multiple iterations; fun, realistic & surprising events.”
“I found it very engaging. I’m not a good mingler. I loved having the structure to interact with my team. We made great connections we wouldn’t have at a standard conference.”
“I’m new to the industry; it helped me think about all of the moving parts in operating a successful business.”
“It reinforced the importance of communication among multidisciplinary teams and departments across the organization.”
