The presentation will introduce a new paradigm of security intelligence practice: Cognitive Security. The presentation will discuss the new imperative of cyber security in the big data era, the power of cognitive solutions integrated into security architecture, as well as the use cases of cognitive security.

In his current role, Rob is responsible for making technology an asset to Viking. He believes Cyber Security is about ensuring business continuity by providing and managing the right tools that inform and protect end users without hindering their ability to serve the customers.

Dr. James Breckenridge, Mercyhurst University How the intelligence analysts of the future will be affective in the cyber security space

Dr. Breckenridge is the Dean of the Tom Ridge School for Intelligence Studies and Information Science at Mercyhurst University. He has worked and taught in the Intelligence field both in and out of the military.

Jamison Budacki, Senior Information Security Architect, Erie Insurance Operationalizing Threat Intelligence

Jamison will explain how Erie Insurance utilizes threat intelligence to detect miscreants on the network and also highlight how they integrate intelligence into their existing people, process, and technology.
