The Northwest Industrial Resource Center (NWIRC) has a full training schedule this Spring. Here are just a few updates:
The March HACCP Certification course had to be rescheduled and is now being offered on April 20 and 21. Participants have been notified of this change, but there is still space available. Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) is a management system in which food safety is addressed through the analysis and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement and handling, to manufacturing, distribution and consumption of the finished product.
A Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA) course is scheduled for May 3 in Erie. FMEA helps analyze a proposed or existing process or product to uncover potential failures before they occur.
One of our more popular offerings, Root Cause Analysis, is also scheduled for Erie on May 18. This course provides a disciplined approach to problem solving. Once a root cause is identified and remedied, final system outcomes improve – preventing it from occurring again.
Visit the Event Schedule for more information about these courses and to register.
