Having a strategy for welcoming new hires into your culture and planning for future development can reduce costly employee turnover. Another cohort of the Manufacturing Career Readiness training is coming this Spring. It’s scheduled for (4) weekly 90-minute sessions (May 3, 10, 17, 24 from 8am-9:30am), as a virtual training for added convenience. The program is positioned to be an extension of your company’s onboarding process geared for employees who are relatively new to your organization, however, we have found numerous tenured employees benefit by attending to enhance their soft skills and basic background of the industry. The sessions include:
- Manufacturing 101
- Communication & Conflict
- Critical Thinking
- Goal Setting
The instructor is NWIRC’s Culture Development & Training Specialist, Molly Reichard. More details and register at www.nwirc.org/events.
