Northwest Industrial Resource Center (NWIRC) has several upcoming training events scheduled in St Marys to benefit manufacturers in North Central PA, to include Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, IATF 16949 Internal Audit, and others. All courses will be held at the Continuing Education Council in St Marys.

Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA) is scheduled for June 1. FMEA is a helpful tool for companies to identify and manage risk (a critical aspect of the new ISO 9001:2015 standard). Participants will learn how to uncover potential failures before they occur, while investigating at-risk processes and products.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt will take participants on a journey of applying lean tools and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce process variations and defects. The instructor is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and will provide post-training project coaching specific to the process improvement project that the participant brings to the class. Green Belt projects typically spin off $25K-50K (or more) in process improvement cost savings. The program includes (9) full-day sessions over the course of (3) months starting on June 20th.

IATF 16949:2016 Internal Audit training will be held for three days, June 13-15, for manufacturers who need to comply with this automotive industry quality standard.

The Sales Process Mapping Workshop will help your organization become more proactive,  qualify leads more effectively, and stay in alignment to your customers buying process both procedural and behaviorally for greater efficiency.  With built in milestones, world class best practices, verifiable outcomes and sales tools in your newly mapped sales process, you’re ready to advance opportunities with a higher probability of success leading to increased revenues and improved profitability. If you are frustrated with your organization’s inconsistent sales performance or percentage of wins, it may be because you need to create or refine your sales process.
