This workshop is designed to introduce participant the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, the auditing process, audit instruments and the documentation process. Participants will learn how to conduct an audit, write the audit report, and take corrective action. Using a combination of lecture, discussion and auditing case studies participants will develop skills for identifying non-conformance and promoting continual improvement within their service or manufacturing organizations.

ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this 3-day course, participants will have the ability to more effectively:

• Understand ISO 9001:2015 QMS and the underlying Quality Management Principles.
• Understand the organizations products, services and processes – and how they relate to the Quality Management System
• Gain the ability to apply the principles, procedures and techniques of process auditing.
• Apply the personal attributes necessary for the effective and efficient internal auditing

About the Presenter:
Kevin Smith, HCS, SPHR, President & Owner of Leaderstone. Kevin is a performance management consultant and certified Human Capital Strategist (HCS). He has spent the majority of his career assisting leaders in improving organizational performance and maximizing human resources. Kevin has consulted organizations in manufacturing, healthcare, nonprofit, and educational sectors. He holds a degree in Business Management and Business Finance from Mercyhurst College.
