2014-OCT-Root CauseQuality issues can lead to increased costs, delayed product launches, or lost revenue. Northwest Industrial Resource Center (NWIRC) has put together a Management Quality Tools Certification program that incorporates various concepts for maintaining quality at your company. This multi-day program provides a variety of resources to 1) uncover potential failures before they occur, 2) evaluate the root cause of performance problems, and 3) improve the effectiveness of both your measuring systems and quality management program. One day of training will be dedicated to each of the following topics:

Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) / May 3, 2016

Measurement System Analysis (MSA) / May 11, 2016

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) / May 18, 2016

Statistical Process Control Charts (SPC) / May 24, 2016

Assessing Quality System Effectiveness / June 1, 2016

Each of the above topics can also be taken as a stand-alone course to brush up your skills or orient a new employee. Instructor, Sara Goncus, will enable participants to learn how each quality tool can be applied to a project benefiting their company. Goncus is the Director of Training and Development at Operations Strategy Consulting, LLC.
